Our online programme “German B2 for Educators” is designed especially for early childhood professionals who want to bring their German to B2 level alongside work: 5 months, 120 teaching units (UE), live in the evening in small groups – from 01.10.2026 in cooperation with DVE Digitalakademie, a certified education provider. Whether you have already completed a teaching qualification or work in early childhood education – this course will help you use German more confidently in your everyday work.

Course content German B2
Our German course B2 for early childhood professionals was specially developed to strengthen professionals in the Kita sector linguistically and professionally. The course offers practical content that prepares you specifically for everyday work. From expanding your grammar to educational communication and exam preparation – our course covers all the important areas.
Course format: The course is a live course alongside work. Over 5 months you complete 120 teaching units (UE) online in small groups. Lessons take place in the evening – ideal for anyone who works in a Kita during the day. We publish new live groups regularly.
In cooperation with DVE Digitalakademie: From 01.10.2026 the course takes place in cooperation with DVE Digitalakademie, a certified education provider. Our teachers are carefully selected. More about DVE Digitalakademie
Learning platform at your own pace: In addition, there is a modern learning platform that you can also book independently of the live course – for learning at your own pace. The platform is intended as an interactive digital learning format and is available at DVE Digitalakademie with a digital, interactive assistant. Your learning progress is not monitored or assessed there.

Exam & certificate
The course specifically prepares you for our internal final exam. The exam is based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and tests practice-relevant skills at B2 level as required in everyday educational work.

The exam is held online under supervision and follows a standardised procedure that ensures transparency, fairness and data security. It can be taken from anywhere and is ideal for qualifications alongside work.
Certificate & recognition
After successful completion, participants receive a certificate of completion detailing their achievements.

Our carefully selected teachers
Short profiles of our language teachers:
- Language teacher with degrees in German studies , BAMF and TELC certifications as well as special expertise in pedagogical training, she brings the necessary specialist knowledge and didactic skills to prepare participants specifically for the B2 level. Her experience includes both face-to-face and online teaching, which means she is ideally suited to the requirements of asynchronous learning concepts.
- Academic expert for German as a foreign language
Our second teacher is an academic expert with a master's degree in German studies and many years of teaching at universities and language institutes. With a TELC certificate at C1 level , extensive BAMF qualification and a passion for languages, he brings not only in-depth knowledge but also versatile teaching methods to the course. His focus is on teaching complex language structures and targeted exam preparation, always with an eye on the individual needs of the participants.
